It all started with a meager/some spare/a couple of fifty bucks. Not much/enough/a lot to get you far/ahead/started in life, but enough to spark a flame/an idea/the desire. Many/Some/A few folks might have just spent it on something frivolous/a good meal/gas for their car, but not this youngster/hustler/dreamer. They had their sights set/ ambitions
